New* Anthony Biglieri Founders Award
The Anthony Biglieri Founders Award is named after the founder of this alumni association SURPA and past chair of the TMU Alumni Association. The award honours a student leader who demonstrates exceptional resilience by overcoming significant academic, personal challenges, or an obstacle in successfully founding a student-led initiative that impacts the school, and University community.

New* Chris Drew Student-in-Action Award
The Chris Drew Student-in-Action Award recognizes students who have made significant contributions to student life and engagement in the School of Urban and Regional Planning, and the university-wide student community through student leadership, volunteerism, and bold ideas. Chris Drew, Urban and Regional Planning alumni, demonstrated these skills when he served on the TMSU for five terms, helped to lead the campaign to pedestrianize Gould Street, and has been an active member of the SURPA committee for over a decade.
