What are our Equity Awards?
SURPA has two equity awards; the Equity in Planning, Black Student Planning Award, and the Equity in Planning, Indigenous Student Planning Award that supports justice-deserving students enrolled in the school.

Celebrating BIPOC Excellence Networking Mixer
In 2025 we hosted our first ever Celebrating BIPOC Excellence Networking Mixer that brought together all of our past BIPOC+ award recipients, and students to network plus celebrate together their accomplishments. In 2026 we are hosting our 2nd annual Celebrating BIPOC Excellence.
